Originally by: Kwint Sommer I'm still working on compiling everything I need to before sending you that email Ricdic but looking at this offer of yours I don't think you've fully thought out the managing costs.
Back of the envelope calculation: 20B in capital * 20% profit * 10% management fee = 400M per month It takes an hour a day to manage these POS's (fueling and shipping reaction contents around on 20+ towers is a real pain) so 400M / 30 = 13.3m per hour so about half what a good L4 mission runner makes. I can't imagine anyone that knows the inns and out of running reactors would manage your rather large chain for half what a mission runner makes. He would make substantially more off a single 2-POS reaction chain than doing this.
I'm hoping we can roll this into my IPO plans and in so doing substantially increase profit for the investors (30% decrease in fuel use anyone?) and come up with a management scheme that would make them manager more than running L4's. Especially considering the difference between an "ah, I keep the towers full" manager and an "I update my market orders so often my journal fills up in a day" manager is upwards of 10B a month in profits. I wish I had my IPO plan ready but I want to do it right the first time and that's taking a while, plus I have a meeting with Dr. Whyte in like 10 minutes...expect an email in a few hours though.
Kwint, perhaps you and I can have a chat in-game about several things. Catch me sometime.

For those thinking OMG, this could happen to my ISK if I invest! I'm here to say, it won't.
Why? I would like to list what I do to ensure the safety of my shipments and how the largest loss I ever had was under 20M and involved getting sloppy with a Crow but I don't need to because all of that is being handled by Bunnz. I would say a few things about his logistics abilities but it really doesn't matter, if he looses a shipment it's his loss not ours. In the worst case scenario it would simply disrupt production, hurting our bottom-line but not touching the invested capital.
Just to add to this, IF bunnz entire logistical operation was somehow deestroyed by some strange act of God(CCP), im sure there are backup plans in place to handle the need to move fuel/materials/reactions around if need be. I would assume any operation of this magnitude would have a plan in place if such an event were to occur.
With that being said, I seriously doubt bunnz is going to fall victim to such an event. Although I do not personally know bunnz, I have done my research and spoken to several individuals and I can honestly say I have zero doubt at his ability to run a smooth operation.
